This is exciting – you have taken a critical step toward transforming Terumo Blood and Cell Technology’s culture of Quality to a Zero-Defect mindset.

On behalf of Terumo Blood and Cell Technologies, Varaprasad Manne, Vice President, Global Quality, and Carrie Warszawski, Director of Quality and Six Sigma Master Black Belt, welcome you to our series of Six Sigma e-Learning courses. With input from your manager, your development plan, and a Terumo BCT Six Sigma administrator, you will choose the right course series to start. We are pleased to offer Six Sigma Yellow Belt Introductory Series, Six Sigma DMAIC Green Belt Series, Six Sigma DMAIC Black Belt Series, and two Bridge Series to provide a path for advancement without redundancy. Each module within the series will test your knowledge and can be reviewed for a refresher at any time.

Terumo BCT’s vision is to delight customers and accelerate growth by equipping our team with advanced skills to solve problems through data-based decision making. Six Sigma Belt certification is a key enabler. To achieve Yellow Belt certification, you will participate as a team member on Six Sigma project. To achieve Terumo BCT Green Belt or Black Belt certification, you will complete the course work, earn ≥90% on the module quizzes, and ≥90% on the final exam. Green and Black Belt candidates will lead to completion two successful DMAIC projects. Your projects may significantly and positively affect outcomes measured by customer complaints, factory non-conformances, scrap rates, good-will returns, and production yields. Alternatively, your projects may target first time validation success, improved product reliability, increased process capability, or business process efficiency. Bottom line – if it is a complicated opportunity requiring in-depth problem-solving methodology and the potential to meaningfully improve a key quality metric, it is likely a good Six Sigma project candidate.

Do not hesitate to reach out with any questions on the right training for you, whether your idea for a project is a good candidate for the Six Sigma Hopper of opportunities, or if you need mentoring on the next phase of your project. Just email: SixSigmaSupport@terumobct.com to connect with a subject matter expert in the program.
